Day care services are provided to children aged 5-21 with and without disabilities. Staff are trained on each child’s individual plan to meet the unique needs of the child and the facility offers daily activities and a state of the art sensory room and playground.
Summer Camp is a day service program provided in the summer for children with various disabilities aged 5-21. The program focuses on activities that are educational, physical, and stimulating. Children participate in activities at Dove Pointe as well as within their local community.
"TBS" (Therapeutic Behavioral Services) are in-home behavioral intervention services provided to children under the age of 21 that are found to have a medical necessity for these services.
Dove Pointe is a certified MOVE® Basic Provider. M.O.V.E. (Mobility Opportunities Via Education/Experience) is designed to help individuals who are non-ambulatory to practice skills such as sitting, standing, and walking using adaptive equipment.” For more information, you may visit www.move-international.org.
Respite services are provided at the child's residence or one of our licensed children's residential homes. Respite gives families a much needed break and can be provided for a few hours up to an extended period of time based on the family’s needs. It usually must be scheduled in advance, but emergency respite may be available in some cases.
