Adult Vocational and Day Services

Vocational/Day

Vocational Services focus on teaching specific work skills necessary to become a successful employee through skills training, interview preparation, and on-the-job coaching. We currently offer on-site training in horticulture, banquet catering, laundry as well as job coaching for community employment. Adult Residential

Residential

The goal of the residential services program is to provide residential support services which address the preferences, strengths, abilities, needs and life span issues of the person served. Consumers of the residential program receive training in order to achieve greater independence. Mentoring

Mentoring

Individuals in the Mentoring program are carefully matched with a Mentor and services are individually tailored to the preferences and interests of the individual including working on skills in the home and attending social events in the community. Adult Day Care

Adult Medical Day Care

Dove Pointe offers services to adults with specialized medical needs through the Adult Medical Day Care Program. Adults needing the support of a nurse during the day to administer certain medications or therapies are eligible to apply.  Traumatic Brain Injury

   Dove Pointe is 1 of only 5 providers in Maryland with the TBI Medicaid Waiver to provide services to                individuals with a TBI. Individuals are assisted toward regaining independent living skills, obtaining                  employment, and developing a social network. Transitioning Youth

Transitioning Youth

Dove Pointe aims to make the transition from school to work as smooth as possible. We participate in the IEP process at school and incorporate a flexible schedule of activities for the student based on his or her preferences, strengths, and skills. MOVE

MOVE®

Dove Pointe is a certified MOVE® Basic Provider. M.O.V.E.
